Watching the reminded me of my trip to last year. Managed to see the sites from the 1984 Olympics hosted in Sarajevo. Ski lift, toboggan runs and the Olympic village. A huge thanks to my host Kuki!

I have to give a huge thank you and an appreciation shout to Vince and Ann Traynor of V&A Traynor Fine Arts based in Binfield village.

At the end of last year my dad handed me his fathers medals, with an early photo of his navy career along with some postcards. I believe these postcards were given to serving personnel to send home to loved ones that would document their tours.

The medals had been stashed away for safe keeping for many years and had seen better days. I had decided to look at framing these and immediately thought Vince & Ann would be able to help.

They talked me through what would work well, selected a few of the postcards and even went to the trouble of replacing some of the worn ribbons. What an amazing job and when Vince showed me the final piece I was lost for words. I was very fortunate to be able to take this on a recent visit to Cornwall to show my father.

Thank you Vince & Ann for an amazing job and being able to do justice to our family heirloom. A tremendous job!

Binfield Tennis Association continues to amaze me, with its culture, committee, members and sense of community.

I was fortunate to attend the Berkshire LTA AGM last night where was presented with 2 awards...1 for Highly Commended Club of the Year (ridiculous for a small 3 hard court tenanted club) up against 44 other entries. And chuffed to the heavens for Jordon Gunn picking up Young Volunteer of the Year award. Well done mate, absolutely brilliant contribution.

A brilliant venue at seeing one of my favourite bands . And finishing the week with something a bit different doing their new album.

First gig of the year back at Pryzm. These guys get better with age and is a brilliant front man. Cracking atmosphere.
