It’s with heavy hearts we’re announcing that our Scheme of Arrangement will switch to what’s called ‘the fallback solution’. This is an orderly wind-down of Amigo and its sister brand, RewardRate.

The news that Amigo is no longer lending doesn’t impact or change the loan agreements our customers (Amigo and RewardRate) have with us.

- All outstanding loans remain subject to the existing payment terms agreed with Amigo.

- Customers should continue to make payments in the usual way

Our phone lines will remain open to customers to offer continued support.

- All payment methods and support facilities remain available to customers who need them.

Our website (www.amigoloans.co.uk) will be used to provide customers with information. This will be refreshed when further updates become available.

Our offices are going to be unexpectedly closed tomorrow (Saturday 4th of February), but we’ll be back at 9am on Monday 6th of February for anything you need. We really appreciate your understanding.

Today is the Claims Submission Deadline, you have until midnight to make your claim.

Once this time has passed Amigo Borrowers and Guarantors will no longer be able to make a claim under the Scheme and you will not receive any cash payment or have your current balance reduced for a claim you could have submitted.

If you have already made a claim then we estimate that we will be agreeing claims in the first half of 2023. Where claims are not agreed and are referred to the Scheme Adjudicator we estimate that they will be determined in the third quarter (July-September) 2023. For any claims that are upheld, we currently anticipate making first interim payments in late 2023.

We're currently aware of a small number of customers receiving an error when trying to log in to vote on our Schemes of Arrangement - we'd firstly like to apologise to anybody who's been affected. This error may occur when using Google Chrome, or those using unsupported iPhone models (such as the iPhone 5C or 6).

So that you can successfully log in to vote, we'd recommend:

1. trying to log in using a desktop computer instead of a phone or tablet;

2. using a browser other than Chrome (such as Safari, FireFox or Internet Explorer);

3. trying again at a later time in the day.

If you're still receiving an error, no need to worry! Even with the error screen you should still be able to vote. At the top of the page you should see a yellow box saying 'Vote Now'. Simply click this and it should allow you to cast your votes either for or against the Schemes.

Important update to our customers: The First Court Hearing for our new Schemes will now take place on 8 March 2022. During this Court Hearing we will be asking the High Court for permission to invite customers to vote on our Scheme proposals.
