We profiled this last week most the top soil is now stripped nice large lay down stoned up.
Drainage pegged out today and Invert levels of Exsisting Drainage to be tied into and diverted.
Got direct check on Il's as there's not much room for error.
Luckily I had just the right Tool for the job in van.

New Site Kicking off.
Trainee (Grace Turner) marking next profile location whilst I bash the last one, quick check by myself and send her to the next one.
Then give her the challenge of making out the first 9 MH locations while I tackled the Cross heads. Picked the nodes off the screen herself took her time when there was a problem (picked a node and a line at the same time so Trimble Access just sends you all over the place) she didn't panic came back to me and explained the issue quite clearly.
Quick check all correct.
Not bad she's only Driven the instrument 3 or 4 times.

This will be a nice site when completed this phase will be ready for this Summer.
Started this one 3 or 4 months ago contractor always achieves a good finish.

Amuses me slightly another Engineer has gone around putting Retros up 3 of them within 100mm of exsisting one's.
Appart from the small cost I would prefer to use the original to help with tieing the grids together if any issues show up.

One it Aligning the steel and I am checking it so us being on slightly different grids won't be a problem lol.

Not how I normally set out for hanging bolt jigs with nails in pegs. But jobs almost finished and taking over from another Engineer so going with what the lads are used to, even if it's a more difficult way to do.
