Last week, we celebrated Valerie’s 5 year anniversary of joining Team McKilligan. Valerie joined a month after Dana, making us a team of 3!

Working in Elaine’s home office for the first 18 months before moving into our Sylvadale office, Valerie has kept us organised and is a familiar voice at the end of the phone for our clients.

To mark the occasion, we presented Valerie with flowers and additional holiday entitlement. She is camera shy, so here are her flowers!

We recently celebrated Dana’s 5 year anniversary of joining McKilligan Financial.

Dana was Elaine’s very first employee, marking the start of Team McKilligan.

Dana has been a key player in developing some of our team, she gets on really well with our clients, and is always up for some fun.

To mark the occasion, we presented Dana with flowers and additional holiday entitlement.

We had 3 people who guessed correctly:

Their names went into a hat so Rachael was drawn as the winner of the bottle of whisky 🥃

The closest child was Isla Prentice with 241kg & she wins a box of chocolates 🍫

The gimmers & ewe lambs will be sold at the Highland Mule sale at Dingwall Mart on Monday 7 September 😉

We had an amazing Turriff Show.

Our first ever trade stand. I said if we were going to do one, we would do it properly.

And we definitely did that 🎉

We brought together both our businesses – McKilligan Financial and our own farming business. We had some of our breeding sheep on the stand with a Guess the Weight competition, and also took the opportunity to promote Highland Mule Breeders, a group of sheep farmers selling high-health breeding females from across the Highlands and beyond. We’re proud to be members ourselves.

A huge thank you to our team, most of whom gave up a chunk of their weekend & most of show time to help on the stand. You were brilliant!

It was great to catch up with so many clients, friends, contacts & make new contacts over the two days. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat and supported us - the support was amazing 🥳
