ZAN Marking was established in 2014 by 5 local and foreign shareholders with a registered capital asset of 2,000,000 ETB and a subscribed capital of 1,000,000 ETB. Our aim is to address the issue of theft and car accident related to side view mirrors in the country (Ethiopia). In cooperation with international suppliers and product developers we have found an innovative solution to this growing so
cial issue. We believe that we have come up with an effective method to prevent side view mirror theft and as a result reduce car accidents. Today we have an exclusive agreement with our international and local companies on service, product use and development. In order to reach our goal in preventing theft and reducing car accidents, we have initiated partnerships with governmental and non-governmental institutions in the country, including the Ethiopian Road Transport Authority, the Federal Police commission, Ethiopian insurance association, TOTAL Ethiopia etc. Our company aims at
• creating work opportunities for 35 to 50 employees
• introducing new products/services to the country
• conducting research on the correlation between side view mirror thefts and car accidents
• developing solution nationwide on the issue of side view mirror theft and car accidents
• collecting and sharing data with partners
We, by providing solutions to preventive side view mirror theft, can help drivers keep their original side view mirror, thus reducing the risk of being involving in accidents. Our method can be seen as risk reduction/management method.
