INVITATION TO NATIONAL COMPETATIVE BID

Kefeta Microfinance Institution S.C (KMFI) has obtained a license from the National Bank of Ethiopia, in accordance with Proclamation No. 626/2009, to provide financial services. The institution's license number is MFI/062/2024, issued on January 22, 2024. Additionally, KMFI is duly registered with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration, with registration number MT AA/3/0056555/2016.
Kefeta Microfinance Institution S.C invites all interested, eligible, and pre-qualified bidders by this National Competitive Bid to submit sealed bids for the following lots:
Lot-1: The development of a Mobile wallet for Kefeta Microfinance Institution facilitating the accreditation and Saving Mobilization System that will integrate with the existing Core Banking System.
Lot-2: The development of Software for the call center facilitation and Bulk SMS Transfer incoming and Outgoing and also Voice support service for Kefeta MFI 24/7 support service.
Instructions to Bidders:
1. Interested potential bidders are required to provide a renewed trade license for the current fiscal year, a VAT registration certificate, TIN certificate, and all other relevant legal documents.
2. Kefeta Microfinance Institution hereby announces those bids documents can be obtained interested parties are invited to collect the bid document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 (Five hundred birr) Per Lot. The bid documents will be available during office hours, starting from the date of the announcement.
3. The invitation for bids is open to all bidders, and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions outlined in the bid document.
4. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 100,000.00 (One hundred thousand birr) in the form of (CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee), which must remain valid for 180 days from the bid opening date, prepared in the name of Kefeta Microfinance Institution S.C and must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes marked “Bid Bond for each lot separately. (Lot-1 and Lot-2).
5. Bids must be delivered or deposited in the tender box situated at Head office before the closing date and time. Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date and time shall not be accepted.
6. The bid shall be closed on 21/02/2025 GC of the announcement at 10:00 am and will be opened on the same day at 10:30 am in the presence of bidders or authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at Kefeta Microfinance Institution S.C Head office, Addis Ababa. (Lot-1 and Lot-2).
7. The company reserves the right to cancel all or part of this bid without assigning any reason whatsoever.
