The first factory was established in the fifth industrial zone "Sadat City" in the middle of the Cairo-Alexandria desert road. The foundation stone of Ceramica Prima has been laid in Egypt in April 1995. The constr
uction works started in May 1996, while the actual production process started in August 1997. In 1998; Ceramica Prima commenced its industrial expansions in order to cover the increasing local, regional, and global demand on its products. Establishing of the first factory in the Middle East and Africa using the "Fast Double Firing Technology" was one of the most important steps of success and excellence in the EGMI's market penetration strategy. This technology is based on the burning of each tile layer separately to increase the ceramic tiles' strength and rigidity. In addition, this modern technology avoids all common ceramic tiles' manufacturing defects such as the surface defects and the chromatic degree. Ceramica Prima is characterized by its decoration products such as (Singles – Panels – Laths – Bases). Each piece has its special productive specifications to express its concept in depth.
