SUCCESSFUL NEUTERING
Before El Gouna Stars volunteers headed off for their summer break two mother cats at the Panorama Bungalow Resort were taken in to be spayed.
Unfortunately we spotted the cats after they had already given birth to kittens.
Both mother cats were returned after the neutering and are taking excellent care of their babies.
The mothers and kittens are doing well.
Once the kittens are old enough they will be included in our neutering program.
Many thanks to SUST Orphan Animal Hospital Hurghada and Panorama Bungalow Resort El Gouna for their fantastic support and wonderful help for the welfare of the animals.

ERFOLGREICHE KASTRATION
Bevor die Freiwilligen von El Gouna Stars in die Sommerpause starteten, konnten noch zwei Mutterkatzen im Panorama Bungalow Resort zur Kastration gebracht werden.
Leider sahen wir die Katzen erst, nachdem sie bereits Kitten hatten.
Die beiden Mütter wurden nach der Kastration zurückgebracht und kümmern sich super um ihre Babys.
Den Müttern und den Kitten geht es gut.
Sobald die Kitten alt genug sind, werden auch sie in unser Kastrationsprogramm aufgenommen.

Egypt has announced a new national strategy for managing stray animals, banning mass killings and poisoning while adopting a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) approach. The plan focuses on vaccination, sterilization, and responsible population management, with officials emphasizing the role stray animals play in maintaining ecological balance and helping control rodents and venomous reptiles. Violators of the new regulations could face legal action.

After being abandoned through no fault of his own, so many of you followed his journey, shared his story, and wished him well.
Today, we’re thrilled to tell you that he is exactly where he belongs with a wonderful family who already adore him.

🐾 ADOPTION URGENT – Meet Caesar 🐾

Age: 1.5 years

Breed: Golden Retriever

Caesar is a beautiful, gentle Golden Retriever who desperately needs a loving home.

Sadly, due to a change in his owner’s circumstances, Caesar was left at one of our feeding stations and is now looking for a second chance with a family who will love him forever.

For the first 18 months of his life, Caesar lived as a much loved family dog. He is affectionate, friendly, and completely trusts people.

Unfortunately, his current environment is not suitable. He is living with 11 other dogs in an area with many workers, some of whom are frightened of dogs and have not treated him kindly. A dog like Caesar belongs in a home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of a family again.

If you have room in your heart and home for this wonderful boy, please consider giving Caesar the second chance he deserves.

We urgently need to find Caesar a forever home.

Important Message from El Gouna Stars 🌟

The cat section of El Gouna Stars will be taking its usual summer break during July and August.
This is for two reasons.
Firstly the weather is becoming too hot to catch and neuter cats, without the possibility of causing serious heat stress to the animals (and sometimes to the volunteers as well 🥵)
Secondly, our volunteers are all taking a well earned break and will be away from El Gouna during these two months.
Should you have any veterinary needs during this time, please use one of the many clinics listed on our web site.
Thank you again for all your support and see you in September when we hope normal service will be resumed.
