June is officially a wrap and the numbers are in. It was a great month income wise due to there being three pay periods allowing me to put more money towards investing and house payoff than normal…it was also a high month for groceries…my guess is bc it’s Summertime and Kennedy and my wife are at home most days 😂…gotta love Summer breaks for educators lol…

I made a post some time ago about taking advantage of extra checks within a month. I encourage ppl who enjoy this benefit to pay off consumer debt, increase their savings, even use it to treat yourself to a vacay…me? After I put my usual allocations to groceries, entertainment and gas, I put majority of the remaining check towards Investing, House Payoff & Travel Plans for later this year…I even put a little aside for some car maintenance.

Let’s see what July will hold. I expect groceries to continue to be unusually high…but everything else should be on auto…let’s go July!
