Today, December 1st 2015 at 00.17 AM I created this place : my own page. Never thought I would be that much of a Facebook fan, choosing Facebook as the place from which to create my next step in life. But honestly, I must confess, it isn’t that much about facebook … it is all about looking for a place within reach, where people like you can easily come and find me … if you want ! And sayi
ng so, I just made my rule number 1 for you as a follower : no “musts”, just “likes”. But I can assure you, for those who want to step into this place with me, you’ll have fun ! Fun, as well as hard times. But that’s life, sometimes there’s hard nuts to crack on our way of happiness and we all know deep down that the one doesn’t go without the other… that’s as simple as how balance works. This place is a place for all people in the world that are as amazed as I am about the dream I hold and my next step in making this dream come true : my travel through South America. Roughly counting 6 months from now and blessed with some keystones like :
- a 1-year budget (roughly counted ;-) thanks to my severance pay while leaving ABN Amro, formerly known as Fortis Bank, in 2010
- my partner, Henry, challenging himself these days to let me go chasing my dream
and
- a handful of trust that everything will work out fine
I will be off in June next year. But before I leave, there’s some kind of a journey to go (making it at the same time a bonus deal ;-). And this will be the place where I will share this same journey with you : all things that come my way, while preparing, while dreaming how it will be, while being scared, yet being convinced that this is what I want to do. As it comes from the heart. And MY HEART, that’s exactly the place where I promised myself to create from during my last Leadership Training, late January . For those of you who are more comfortable in Dutch, I am sorry, but I will fill up this place in English. It characterises the international touch that goes with travelling, meeting people from so many different countries, often sharing English as a common language. But don’t worry : nowadays there’s an easy “translate” button somewhere down the page, making your life easy and comfortable again ;-)
