GLØD

GLØD We have made a portable lantern "GLØD". It lights up according to the music played near the lantern But we have come up with a solution. See you there! Team GLØD

When it gets dark in the camping areas, the alternatives to light sources are few. You can use a cellphone to find your stuff in its tent but otherwise it is limited. It's also hard to keep the festive mood up if you come home to the camp and it is completely dark. We have made a portable lantern called ‘GLØD’. It is powered by a power bank and illuminates using a number of LED bulbs that use a minimal amount of energy. The lamp is driven by a Arduino Nano and uses a microphone to listen to the surrounding music and pulse according to the beat. The containers are generously donated by Novo Nordisk and the project is funded by Roskilde Powered By DTU and DTU Skylab. Come by our workshop and make your own GLØD lantern the workshop will på held at the K-area monday 12 o’clock and the lanterns will be free.
