🎓 Today, we wrapped up the second phase of this year’s program at Commerzbank DTC Prague!

🟡 After taking their first steps in May, these high school students spent the last three weeks working alongside our teams on real IT projects.

We celebrated their journey with final presentations in the , followed by pizza and an open chat to gather feedback for future editions. 🍕

While this chapter ends, we hope it’s just the start of their tech path - whether out in the world or back with us as future colleagues.

Recently, in collaboration with Vzdělávání & poradenství | firemní kultura, diverzita a inkluze, we hosted a event - a space for honest conversations and new perspectives.

Through dialogue with our „living books,” participants explored topics like health challenges, gender identity, mental health, and cross-cultural experiences. It was a powerful reminder that understanding begins with curiosity and a willingness to listen.

Hosting this during Prague Pride Week made it even more special, highlighting the importance of spaces where every story matters. 💛

🟡 Last week, Commerzbank DTC Prague welcomed leaders from across our DTC network for another edition of our cross-location leadership workshops.

Over two days, we had the opportunity to host Marek Gajowniczek, Head of DTC Poland (Łódź), Markus Kroeger, Head of DTC Bulgaria (Sofia), together with Martin Baeuerle and Sebastian Kauck, Executive representatives for the area. Alongside Igor Savic, Head of DTC Prague, they brought together different perspectives and ideas from across our locations.

💡It was also a great opportunity to showcase initiatives from Prague and engage in open discussions with local management, creating space for even closer collaboration across locations.

💡 Every team has challenges. The question is: which ones could AI help solve?

This question brought GM-F colleagues together for an AI Ideation Workshop, where teams explored practical opportunities for applying AI across the Finance Key Area.

🟡 Working with personas inspired by their everyday work, participants first mapped typical tasks and challenges faced by different users. They then joined new teams and took on a challenge: to design an AI-powered solution that could help improve a specific part of the daily workflow.

🏆 The workshop concluded with teams presenting their ideas and voting for the most promising concepts. The result? A wide range of creative solutions, some of which have already been documented and may find their way into future implementation.

Our interns are back at Commerzbank Digital Technology Center Prague for their 3-week summer internship. After meeting their Chapter Leads and Product Owners, they dived straight into real-world DTC Prague projects (some were so popular we literally had to play rock-paper-scissors for them 😉).
