Students of the Light is a NGO which primarily serves displaced children or desplazados from the civil war in Colombia. The children arrive to SOTL in extreme poverty and are traumatized. They suffer problems of malnutrition, or from child abuse (including rape), and have substandard, if any schooling, among other issues. This is not an orphanage. 60% of the total money raised goes to SOTL. The L
ibrary Bookmouse Foundation is a non-profit organization that brings books, literature and art to underprivileged and marginalized (and displaced) children of metropolitan Medellin. It does this by making reading fun and using artistic activities which moves the children to develop their intellectual capacities and to make families stronger. 30% of the total money raised goes to LBF. The Colombian Woman’s Network is an NGO supported by Global Ministries that provides relief to displaced communities while advocating for peace, justice, and equality. Our efforts help fund the micro-credit project for the displaced. They focus on women and children. This donation is 10%.
