Curious how a real B2B hat factory handles quality control? ๐จ
Sharing 8 photos from our incoming inspection room at MOUSCAP โ a 35-year headwear maker in Dongguan, China (est. 1993, ISO 9001 / BSCI / WCA certified, 5M+ caps/year, 30+ countries).
The "before" side nobody posts:
1๏ธโฃ Every material box has a hand-written tracking card โ name, spec, color, inbound qty, outbound qty, balance, receiver signature.
2๏ธโฃ Every fabric roll runs through a Linshang LS170 colorimeter vs the customer's signed color sample.
3๏ธโฃ Fabric approved = red QC stamp on the batch label (e.g. B60462A), sealed.
4๏ธโฃ Every machine has a laminated SOP card: operator name + phone, startup/cleaning procedure, daily checklist, fault escalation flow.
5๏ธโฃ Small components (printed labels, webbing, plastic parts) get weight-checked on a digital counting scale โ batch R6046201, 20mm, qty 2000.
6๏ธโฃ Gloves on for every inspection โ operators' fingertips visibly worn from the day.
We don't just claim "6-step QC" โ we let the photos show what each step actually looks like.
Question for the group: when you audit a new supplier, which of these signals do you weigh heaviest? Colorimeter check? Batch traceability? Operator-level SOPs? Share below ๐
