CITIC Securities has been approved as a liquidity provider for HKEX's USD Gold Futures and its wholly owned subsidiary CITIC Securities International has successfully completed its first HAU gold transaction.

This makes CITIC Securities one of the first Chinese securities firms to participate in both exchange-traded and OTC gold trading in Hong Kong.
