Atuilah Youths Association - AYA Atuilah Youths Association - AYA is an association of Young People in Njinikom Sub Division, Boyo Division, North West Region of Cameroon

We seek that young people will gain personal development so they can give back to their own community, through capacity building in the areas of
Agriculture,
Business,
Scholarship awards,
Music, etc. We are also engaged in community services in the area of
Environmental protection,
Water catchment protection in the community,
Health insurance for all poor and vulnerable children in our target

communities,
Assistance to the old poor people in the community,
We generate money through manual labour in the community, through an agricultural scheme; "handing-over-the-gift", etc. Hand-over-the-Gift project is an ongoing project of the Atuilah Youths Association and some 15 young people are already benefiting from it.

The Youths are rehearsing for a gospel musical video album...wait for the thrills in song and action

They intend to use the proceeds from the album to salute some old people in quarter and around with gifts in kind

They will also grant scholarships to 5 underprivileged children, so they can go to school

Protecting Water catchments in Atuilah Quarter is a top priority now for the association...
Can you imagine that 1700 inhabitants of Atuilah quarter have to go to other quarters to get drinking water in the dry season???
This trend has to be reversed by collectively taking responsibility over water catchments so they'll stop drying up in the dry seasons... only then would the people have enough water all year round

Let's take up the challenge!!!
