Preamble.
In a world dominated by violence and war, our Africa continent in general and our country Cameroon in particular. Against all odds archives the formidable feat of leaving in peace and stability without which,no development is possible.this is what justifies the attachment of public authorities to these values.
Our association which also defends these values,aims to be a framework for the promotion of peace, national unity, solidarity, tolerance and prosperity at the service of all Cameroonians.
Moreover,as one man,we have all united in this association to proclaim our desire to work at a common higher ideal of the peaceful and harmonious development of our beautiful continent Africa in general and our beautiful country Cameroon.
Article 1: constitution.
1) here is created in the republic of Cameroon and association between the adherents to these statutes and those who would adhere to them subsequently.governed by law No.90/053 of December 19,1990 on freedom of association.
2) the association prohibits within itself any discussion of a religious nature or tribal.
3) the association is a non-profit, apolitical and without distinction of sex,race, tribe, culture or religion.
Article 2: Name.
1)the association takes the following name: COMMUNITY SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA FOUNDATION.in French: FONDATION POUR LE DEVELLOPMENT DURABLE ECONOMIQUE ET SOCIAL DE LAFRIQUE.
She is designated by the the acronym: COSSEDAF and it motto: peace - solidarity - unity.
Article 3: objectives /and Means of action.
1) the objectives of the association are:-to promote at the national level:
--peace, unity and solidarity in several forms.
--Develop prevention, training, socio-cultural and sporting activities and coaching in the construction of infrastructure and projects.
--Promote health , education, economic development and social of all citizens.
--promote entrepreneurship, good governance and social justice.
--promote democracy, citizenship and the spirit of patriotism.
--promote the defense of the rule of law and fundamental human rights and rights of persons;- fight against violence and discrimination in all their forms.set up works of mutual aid and assistance base on the principle of fairness both for the young people, families, individuals victims as well as for the elderly.
--Avoid idleness and vandalism among young people;- fight against scourges such as alcoholism, juvenile delinquency, rural exodus, poverty, contagious diseases,drugs and other narcotics.
--promote the establishment of partnerships with associations pursuing the same objectives both national and international.
