"We reversed biological age by five years." Would you invest?

Dr. Steve Horvath, who created the epigenetic clock, wouldn't until he knew three things: compared to what, in which cells or model, and whether several clocks agree. Dr. Collin Y. Ewald of Novartis adds that many published results don't hold up when repeated, and that a molecule that can't reach its target won't work.

LIC 2026 in the press.

Handelsblatt, Moneycab and Powergame reported on the seventh Longevity Investors Conference in Gstaad, bringing the conversation to readers in Germany, Switzerland and Greece.

One question ran through the program: which longevity claims hold up. Prof. Steve Horvath gave investors a simple filter for any pitch claiming to reverse biological age: control group, context and clock.

The 7th Longevity Investors Conference has wrapped.

Three days in Gstaad. Aging biology, gerotherapeutics, AI and health data. Moonshots on stage in the morning, breathwork in the Alps in the afternoon, and a lunch on the Wasserngrat nobody wanted to leave.
