This group is recruiting a team to incorporate a cooperative bank, and apply for a bank charter, in order to provide interest-free financing to small business. Interest charges place unfair stress on small business since they accrue irrespective of revenue, threatening survival, especially in recessions, globalisation, and lockdowns. xploit labour, exhaust the environment, and externalise costs (such as pollution) into our world. Financing small business is imperative for recovery, deglobalisation, and employment. We can argue that gold, cryptos, complementary currencies, and mutual credit are money, but only legal tender is widely accepted. Legal tender is 5% government money (notes and coins), and 95% bank money (debt at compounding interest). Our proposed governance model replaces top down, command-and-control domination for the benefit of executive bonuses and remote shareholders, with a cooperative where clients are members.
