I saw this post this morning, and wow! After 18 years in this business, this just reminded me the importance of having conversations with the most important people in our lives, the ones we love!

Last week, The One University Avenue District office of Sun Life ran a fundraiser to raise money for our local community. It was important to give back to people less fortunate in our own backyard, especially at the time of year.

Through the generous donations of our Advisors and their teams, our office staff and Leadership team, we managed to raise $608, which was matched by Sun Life’s “You Give, We Give” program. A total of $1218 was donated yesterday to the Fort York Food Bank.

Thank you to Executive Director, Julie Lejeune, for your gracious hospitality and tour of FYFB. The work you and your team do for the individuals you serve is truly inspirational.

The use of FYFB has more than doubled since COVID and they will be serving a hot meal this Sunday for 80+ individuals. Help is needed now more than ever. Every little bit helps.
