Title: Manager, Software Engineer
Industry: Publisher of Scientifically Validated Assessments across 75 countries
Structure: Manage a team of 10- -15 report to CTO
Location: Markham, ON
Mandate: Introduce and oversee the adoption, in collaboration with the DevOps Engineering Principal, of software development and DevOps methods and practices including coding standards, reviews, documentation requirements, and related methods.
Supervise the work of a group of employees, contractors and external firms in the development, testing, maintenance and promotion of software systems and subsystems.
A general focus on Microsoft .NET and cloud deployments, but the priority need is on software methods, software quality, DevOps practices including continuous integration, and problem triage and resolution scheduling.
$150+ plus depending on experience
A minimum of 10+ years of experience working in data processing and systems engineering disciplines with various levels of responsibility including at least 4 years as a lead or manager is required.
Experience with a variety of development and implementation methods and practices.
