SOBHL is back with a brand new season. Season 6 incoming!!! There will be 12 regular season games, 2 refs, playoffs, draft tournament, jerseys, shorts, stats, pictures, videos, weekly highlights, power rankings, awards and new projects in the pipeline as well 👀

Only 8-10 team spots available (tier 3/4 skill level). All games held at Clatworthy arena on Wednesday evenings all summer long! 😎

Looking back at the Season 5 SOBHL Champs - Scarlem Pickup Artists!!! 🏆 What a championship series this was between Team Sleazy and Scarlem PUA! Scarlem took game one of the series 2-1 and then Sleazy fought back taking game two 5-2! With the playoff series tied, the championship went to sudden death overtime where captain clutch himself, PJ Bauer .bauer buried the series winning goal with just over a minute left in overtime to send Sleazy packing and Scarlem to their first ever SOBHL title! Congratulations boys!

Both Del Zotto brothers on Scarlem played big minutes in the playoffs and were crucial to the championship series, however defenceman Adam Del Zotto took home the honour of Playoff MVP (Conn Smythe trophy) with his outstanding two way play and brilliant performance in the finals!

Amazing season once again and thank you to all the players, teams, fans, sponsors and staff who made it all happen! Stay tuned for much more pictures, videos and highlights over the coming weeks as we share more of Season 5 with everyone!

This season saw some outstanding defensive plays and had some excellent two way defenders who created magical moments offensively and made big stops on the defensive end whenever necessary. These three amazing defenders are core players for their respective squads and are absolute game changers, all worthy of a Norris trophy nominee!

Shane Del Zotto - Scarlem PUA - 2 goals 15 assists

Peter Niedzinski - Sleazy - 3 goals 10 assists

This season had some very impressive goaltending performances between the pipes from all the full-time goalies! These two individuals however were the backbones of their teams and gave their respective squads a chance to win night in and night out. The nominees for the Vezina are:

SOBHL SEASON 5 HART TROPHY NOMINEES (Regular season MVP) 🏆🏆🏆

Season 5 comes to an end tonight with an epic championship showdown between Scarlem Pick Up Artists and Team Sleazy. These 3 individuals (Mike, PJ & Abrar) each guided their teams on the scoreboard and in the locker room while putting up monstrous numbers to be considered finalists for the season 5 Hart Trophy. Not only are they outstanding players themselves, they make their teammates around them better and that's all you can ask for from these superstars!

Find out tonight who takes home the Hart trophy (among other awards) during our end of season award ceremony happening from 9:00pm to 9:50pm at Clatworthy Arena between games 1 and 2 of the championship series.

Will it be of Sleazy, .bauer of Scarlem or of Donlands? We will find out tonight! Free halal pizza and pop for fans and players as well! Come join us for an epic night of ball hockey and celebrations! 🥳

The season 5 SOBHL finals are finally here! Sleazy narrowly squeaks by Donlands in the semi-finals while Scarlem clearly chose their opponent (Sharpshooters) correctly as they beat up on them to set up this epic finals! These two teams are longtime arch rivals and it will be an entertaining championship series to say the least! Schedule below for this week's finals:

Wednesday August 20th at Clatworthy Arena

8:00PM - #1 Scarlem Pick Up Artists @ #3 Sleazy
9:00PM - Season Awards & Pizza (Fan/Player Appreciation)
9:50PM - #5 Sharpshooters @ #4 Palace HC

The championship series will be a best of 2 series with both games being played on August 20th. There will be a 50 min break time between game 1 and game 2 as we will have pizza and pop for players and fans and hand out the season 5 hardware! 🏆 Stay tuned for the SOBHL finals brought to you by our league sponsor Uniform Labs ! 🔥
