5 Career Mistakes You Should Avoid

A job income, no matter how much you make, is depended on the number of hours of work you put in.
Limitations with your job income:
• Your earnings are always capped.
• Tripling or even doubling your income is not possible.
• Illusion that it is secured.
• Limited development scope.
• Added pressure and Stress

Focusing on salary alone can give you tunnel vision and prevent you from viewing job offers objectively.

You could avoid these 5 career mistakes:

- Not knowing your worth
- Making decisions based on salary alone
- Assuming your career is linear
- Getting too comfortable
- Ignoring your intuition

Remember this—while everyone wants a higher income, more money won’t necessarily put you in the best position to grow professionally or make you happier at work.

A business income on the other hand might not be visible in the starting few months, but you have the ability to turn your annual income into monthly income. This is the beauty of being a business owner. This is why entrepreneurs that start from making $100/month take it to $100,000+/month in a matter of few years.

If you want to work on that business idea and create an additional income stream while you have a job.

Debt to Income Ratio

Our debt to income ratio calculates the percentage of our monthly debt payments to our gross monthly income.

A low debt-to-income (DTI) ratio demonstrates a good balance between debt and income.

In other words, if your DTI ratio is 30%, that means that 30% of your monthly gross income goes to debt payments each month.

Conversely, a high DTI ratio can signal that an individual has too much debt for the amount of income earned each month.

Sadly, the current household DTI ratio is at 176.9% as of June 2020. This means that the average household is in $1.769 debt for every dollar they own.

Where do you stand?

👉 Good: 36% or less

👉 Manageable: 37% to 42%

👉 Cause for concern: 43% to 49%

👉 Dangerous: 50% or more

Self-doubt brings fear, such as the fear of failure, of the dark, of being out of control, of not being good enough.

Believing in yourself means having faith in your own capabilities.

It means believing that you CAN do something — that it is within your ability. When you believe in yourself, you can overcome self-doubt.

When we’re doubting our ability to do a task, we need to go back and ask: Who gave us this task?

If God gave us this task, then our job is to trust God. He has promised to give us the abilities we need, to go before and behind us, to prepare us.

Have the confidence to take action and get things done.

Power comes from taking TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY...

Without HOPE for a better future, we have nothing that PULLS us.
Without the POWER to do so, we wont have enough to PROPEL us forward.

Every successful entrepreneur or game changer in the world has had these two beliefs.
Elon Musk. Steve Jobs. Jeff Bezos. Oprah Winfrey. Martin Luther King. The list goes on....

If they didn't believe there was a hope for a better tomorrow, they wouldn't begin the journey.
