⛪ Your church may be insured. But is it insured for how it actually serves?
That is the question many churches and places of worship should ask before renewal.
Because the risk is not only the building.
It is also the way the ministry operates every week:
▪️Sunday services
▪️youth programs
▪️hall rentals
▪️volunteers
▪️counselling and pastoral care
▪️outreach and food programs
▪️board and leadership decisions
▪️donor and member records
A church insurance review should not stop at property value.
It should ask whether the coverage still reflects the people, programs, rentals, volunteers, and community role the church carries today.
I wrote a new blog on why churches and places of worship should be reviewed as open-door community operations, not just insured buildings.
