The Dressage New Brunswick Board is saddened to hear of the passing of Francine Shorr. Francine was an incredible woman who battled cancer with great strength and grace until the very end.

She was always a delight to have at our shows, and we were truly grateful to welcome her as a judge on many occasions over the years. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication to the sport will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

We extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and the entire dressage community during this difficult time.

We wanted to send out a message highlighting a few of our sponsors for the 2026 show season who will be offering services during the show.

1 - The Farmer’s Wife Photography (Emily)

Emily will be onsite taking photos from every ride on both Saturday and Sunday. After the show, a link will be provided to all riders with proofs available for purchase. She has also mentioned that she may be available for portrait sessions on Friday or Saturday evening. If you are interested in booking portrait photos, please contact her directly.

2 - Elm Brook Farms Equine Therapy

Elm Brook Farms will be offering a variety of PEMF and massage treatments during the show. If you would like to book an appointment, please contact her in advance to arrange a day and time that works best for you. More information can be found in the attached flyer.

She has also graciously donated one free treatment during the show. From all entries received, Hannah Verboom & Freia are the lucky winners of the draw and will receive the complimentary treatment at the show. Congratulations!

3 - Maritime Saddle & Tack

Unfortunately, Maritime Saddle & Tack will not be able to attend the show this weekend. However, staff members will still be coming to watch the show. If you are in need of anything or interested in purchasing something from the store, please contact her in advance and arrangements can be made to have items brought to the show for you.
