Having a broker to help you navigate your insurance is a huge benefit! When you need to change something about your policy - your address, your coverage, your payment method, your vehicle, etc - call your broker. Even if you get in an accident, your broker is there for you (within reasonable business hours of course!) to take the details and start the claims process with our insurance partners. Your insurance company also has a direct line for claims processing if your broker is not available - but there is no need to stress yourself with an urgent need to report the incident. Most policies have 30-60 days to report claims.

If you do not currently have a personal broker who can assist you with changes and communicate with your insurance company and advocate on your behalf, you need to call us! Did you know... that we have a famous bear in Alberta? Maybe you have seen him? His name is the Boss😎 He is known to be the most dominant grizzly bear in and around Banff National Park. Legend has it he once had a brush with a passing train and just shrugged it off! 😅 Weighing upwards of 650Lbs, he is one massive guy! How do you know if its him? He does have some distinguishable features such as a missing chunk of his right ear and a shorter snout.

Three facts about Grizzly bears in Canada... 1) About 75% of the grizzly bears in Canada are located in BC. 2) They are our second largest land carnivore behind Polar bears (who are from my home province of Manitoba🙌). 3) The ends of the hairs on grizzly bears’ flanks, backs and shoulders often have white tips and give the bears a “grizzled” appearance, hence the species’ name.

The first picture posted is one I found of "the Boss", the second picture is one I took near Lake Lousie a few years back. I don't think it's the same bear but it was still a beautiful animal to see😍 Have you ever seen the Boss?🤔 Even if you haven't, I would love to hear your best bear story!

P.S. The Boss is making news this spring as many people flock to the park to catch a glimse of him. If you go to the park please respect the wildlife and give our guy lots of space - he did just wake up afterall!

Do you have a job where you carry around your own tools? Maybe you are a self-employed tradesperson. You could be a photographer who takes their cameras and equipment to a photo shoot location. What is loss of use coverage? You may have been asked by your insurance agent whether you would like to add "loss of use" coverage to your auto policy. What does this cover you for?

In the event your vehicle is in a collision, you would have coverage to rent a vehicle for the time that your vehicle is being repaired. There are different limits or amounts for this coverage so be sure to ask your agent for the best package possible to cover you while your vehicle is in the shop. A sister coverage you get with this is "transfer of liability" which means that your section C coverages (collision and comprehensive) transfer over to that rental vehicle and cover you the same as it would if you were driving your own car. One thing most people do not know is that this transfer coverage also can be used when renting a car anywhere in USA and Canada even if your vehicle is not in the shop!
