🚫Don't waste your precious time on a weakness, hire it out when it makes sense.

But when is that?

Honestly, when you can fill that time selling your strengths.

You'll often earn more hiring it out than spending your time trying to complete the task. But it can be hard knowing a bill is coming and if you can afford it.

✨️Can you afford to miss special events?
✨️Can you sideline relationships?
✨️Can you make up that missed time with your children growing up?

I encourage people to pay a bookkeeper for their business because they will bring more in, in that time, than what they are getting out of it doing it themselves.

Haven't received your T4 yet?
Don't panic 😊

Employers had until March 7th to file due to e-file errors on CRA's portal.

Has CRA extended personal tax filing because of it?.... No.

Deadlines for those who are expected to owe money is still April 30, 2025. If you are expecting a refund because you contribute RRSPs or have extra taken off your pay, you can file at anytime without penalty.

We can file T1 returns now but some of your slips probably haven't hit CRA online yet.

If you have a physical slip you can still file.
March 3rd was the RRSP deadline so those slips may not come through until the end of March.

April 30th is the deadline to file T1s without penalty for taxes owing.

June 15th is the deadline to file without penalty for Sole Proprietorships.

We can officially start filing Personal Tax Returns!!! If you are recieving a T4A because you have a side hustle distributing goods such as Young Living, Epicure, Doterra, etc. your deadline remains April 30th as CRA does not consider you a sole proprietorship. But good news, that means you can file under our "Individual Return" Flat Rate!!!
