Every kid deserves the chance to play, learn, and grow through sport. Eligible families may receive up to $350 toward registration fees, helping make JDL Athletics programs more accessible in our community.

U15 NHC High Performance Camp 💪🏒

Another great dryland session with the U15 athletes at last week’s NHC High Performance Camp.

We focused on building the athletic qualities that carry over to the ice — strength, balance, coordination, movement quality, and the ability to compete through fatigue.

A lot of good work from this group, and another opportunity to keep building better athletes off the ice.

🏀 15 SEASONS OF BASKETBALL IN PEACE RIVER! 🏀

What started with Steve Nash Youth Basketball back in 2012 has grown into today’s Jr. NBA program under Canada Basketball and Alberta Basketball — and this fall, we’re excited to enter our 15th season of helping young athletes in Peace River learn, play and love the game.

Over the years, hundreds of kids have stepped onto the court with us. Some were picking up a basketball for the very first time. Others went on to play school, club and higher-level basketball. But the goal has always stayed the same:

🏀 Build skills.
💪 Build confidence.
🤝 Build community.
❤️ Help kids love basketball.

And now it’s time for the next generation.

Great weekend working with the U13 NorthWest Hockey Club “NHC” High Performance group on their dryland training. 🏒💪

Day 1 was all about movement, balance, strength, coordination and competing — building athletic skills that carry over when they step back on the ice.

Appreciate NHC having me back for another year and giving JDL Athletics the opportunity to work with their athletes.

Building better athletes — on and off the ice.
