Where do you want to be next year ... 3 years from now ... 5 years ... 10?

When I started my real estate investment journey in 2010, I set 3 goals:
1. that I would by 5 multi-family properties within 5 years;
2. that I would retire from my day job within 10 years;
3. that I would have someplace warm to spend my retirement in winter.

SMART goal setting is a process: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-Bound. I made it happen because I knew where I was going, and got the guidance I needed to turn the dream into goals, and build the plan. Then came the key: I took action and was disciplined enough to follow the plan and tourn the dream into reality.

Dream ... Goal ... Plan ... Action ... Reality!
Action transforms dreams into reality.

What goals do you have to set today to make YOUR dreams a reality?

Because, you are either going to look back and say, "I am glad I did!", or, "I wish I had!"

Bank of Canada maintains policy interest rate at 2.25%, as expected. Th BoC said that the current spike in inflation was due to oil price increases because of the war in Iran and are considered temporary. It also said that unemployment held steady, reflecting weak hiring and fewer job seekers. No surprises in this announcement.

The Bank of Canada today held its target for the overnight rate at 2.25%, with the Bank Rate at 2.5% and the deposit rate at 2.20%.
