One thing I noticed very quickly trading options:

Many traders choose strikes almost entirely based on Delta or premium… without much historical context around where the strike actually sits relative to recent market behavior.

That became one of the ideas behind the 30-Day Strike Context system inside OptionLogic.

The platform compares:
• Put strikes against the stock’s 30-day low
• Call strikes against the stock’s 30-day high

to help traders better visualize where their selected strike sits relative to recent trading ranges.

For example:
• How far above recent downside is the Put strike?
• How close is the Covered Call strike to recent highs?
• Is the trader collecting enough premium relative to the historical range?

The goal isn’t prediction.

The goal is providing clearer positional context before entering the trade.

The software still uses the exact same market data available everywhere else…

…but restructures and visually organizes it in a way that is easier to absorb during real-time decision making.

One thing I noticed after starting options trading:

Most platforms help traders ENTER the trade…

…but very few help manage the position AFTER assignment.

That became one of the core ideas behind OptionLogic.

Instead of treating assignment like failure, the platform tracks:
• adjusted cost basis
• covered call recovery
• net share exposure
• recovery progress
• premium collected over time

The goal isn’t prediction.

The goal is helping traders better understand and manage positions through the full lifecycle of the trade.

Assignment changes the trade.
Your tools should adapt too.

One thing I learned quickly trading options:

A trade can be “correct” and still lose money because of poor liquidity.

Many newer traders focus only on:
• premium
• Delta
• ROI

…but completely ignore slippage.

A wide Bid/Ask spread can quietly destroy profitability during both entry and exit.

That’s one of the reasons I built the Slippage / Spread Score system into OptionLogic.

Instead of forcing traders to constantly calculate and interpret raw spread values, the platform visually categorizes contracts based on liquidity conditions so it becomes easier to identify:
• liquid contracts
• moderate spread conditions
• high slippage risk

The goal isn’t to tell traders what to buy or sell. The goal is to help traders better understand what they’re actually entering.

Small improvements in fills and ex*****on can make a massive difference over time.

One thing I realized very quickly after I started trading options:Most people spend all their time trying to predict the trade……but almost no time thinking about what happens AFTER assignment. That gap in the strategy completely changed how I look at the market. Instead of only asking "What premium can I collect today?"

I started asking the questions that actually protect my capital:
If assigned, what is my true net cost basis after all premiums are accounted for? Am I selling a Put too close to the recent 30-day downside? How much upside am I realistically sacrificing on my Covered Calls? Where does the '-' meet the '+' to reach my actual recovery break-even? That mindset is exactly what shaped the design of OptionLogic.

I just added a new feature that compares your selected strikes against the stock’s 30-day trading range. It gives you instant historical context so you aren’t just "guessing" at a strike—you’re seeing exactly how much of a safety cushion you actually have.
Not prediction. Not AI signals. Not hype. Just cleaner decision support built around a real-world trading workflow.
The goal is simple: Help traders understand the full life of the position—including the recovery—BEFORE they ever click "Trade."See the logic in action:

Over the last few years, I spent a lot of time trading stocks and this past January I started trading Options. I read three books and in the first month was in the red by $4800. Like a lot of retail traders, I realized pretty quickly that most platforms gave me tons of data… but not always the information I actually needed to make clear decisions.

I kept asking simple questions:

* What is my true cost basis?
* What is my real return after fees and assignment?
* When does this trade actually recover?
* Is there any tools to better display the data?
* How much slippage am I really giving up entering a position?
* How can the ROI be calculated instantly without a calculator?

So I started building my own tools to track things the way I actually think about trades.

What began as a personal project for myself and a few friends slowly evolved into OptionLogic — a platform focused on clarity, real-world decision making, and understanding the numbers behind options trading without unnecessary complexity.

It’s not about predicting the market or selling hype. It’s about organizing information in a way that helps traders make better, more informed decisions. Instead of staring at an active tickers option chain which looks like blinking red, green and white Christmas tree lights... I have mathematically and graphically converted those overwhelming numbers into information that can be absorbed by a trader allowing for quick decisions.

The project which I call "OptionLogic" has finally reached the point where I’m comfortable sharing it publicly.
