It is with profound sadness that we learned of the passing of our Vice President, Etua Kaukai.
Etua was a dedicated leader who served both his community and Nunavik with integrity, wisdom, and compassion. His commitment to the Nunavik Investment Corporation and to improving the lives of Nunavimmiut through his leadership and public service will leave a lasting legacy.
Our hearts are especially with his family, who have endured unimaginable loss in recent times. We hope they find strength in the love that surrounds them and comfort in knowing how deeply Etua was respected, admired, and appreciated by so many.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Nunavik Investment Corporation, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, his community, and all those whose lives he touched.
