I am an avid walker and love to spend time on my weekends putting in steps in the great outdoors, with my strollmate (aka walking partner). On average, we walk 8-10 km a day. We didn't start out walking that far. With discipline and consistency, we conditioned ourselves to go the distance and we enjoy the health benefits that comes from movement, community and fresh air. Discipline and consistency provide many benefits in bookkeeping too and can eliminate the stress that often comes with year end tax filing.
