UNB Physics Society

UNB Physics Society The UNB Physics Society is a society devoted to those interested in Physics. Feel free to stop by! Membership fee is $5; stop by room P315 to join!

We provide many services for our members; we hold regular social events ranging from board game nights, to afternoons of paintball. We maintain a tutor list for anyone needing extra help with their physics courses, and we can help you get into contact with advisors if you are interested in turning an interest in Physics into a Degree. In addition, every year we send interested students to the Atla

ntic Undergraduate Physics and Astronomy Conference (AUPAC) for a weekend of presentations and socializing with physics students from across the Maritimes! We are located in room P315 of the Physics Building (directly above Financial Services), where we provide a great space to socialize when you have free time between classes, or a place to work when you don’t have free time.

Greetings all! Since the PHYS SOC has been so inactive we are going to amalgamate it with the astronomy club! With the incredibly creative name..... Physics and Astronomy Club! As such the two pages will now be one!

Hi everyone!
I am writing to you today to inform you that we will be hosting an event for both the Physics Society and the Astronomy Club on February 12th, 2016. We plan to watch Interstellar and if the weather is nice we will be giving people access to the telescope.
The event will take place between 6-9 at the Physics Society room (Location depends on attendance) located on the third floor of the physics building, P315. I hope to see a lot of you there!

Hey guys!
I wanted to let everyone know that we WILL be having an event next week, December 9th, for anyone interested in coming. We will take care of membership sign ups there but it will be an off campus holiday party. You are welcome and encouraged to bring whatever goodies you'd like.
