This can mean going from a 25 year to a 30 year or potentially extending a mortgage you've been paying down for some time back out to 25 or even 30 years.

The Bank of Canada cut rates by 0.25% today, and Prime just slipped from 4.95% to 4.70% for the first time since August 2022!

Do you know your credit score? If it's lower than you would like here are a few possible reasons that could be the cause.

The systems used to maintain and raise a credit score are not common knowledge amongst consumers but I think they should be. As a mortgage broker I'm well-versed in what can be done to improve your score and it's often not as complicated or as hard to implement as you would think.

I'm going to share some of these tips with you in my next reel but for now if you are curious get in touch and I will send you over a tip sheet so you can get started on improving your credit score right away.
