Part of my sponsorship of Swim Ontario supported last week's Ontario Swimming Championships at the Pan Am Sports Centre.

Seeing my name and logo on deck was a pretty surreal moment. I was once one of those kids on deck, chasing big goals and dreaming about what the future might hold. I think the eleven year old me would be really impressed and proud of the person I've become and I am incredibly proud of her.

Building a business is like training - isn't always glorious, and the reward is not always instant. But moments like this are a reminder to pause, appreciate how far you've come, and find ways to give back to the communities that helped shape you.

Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed, and to the families, coaches, and volunteers who supported them along the way. It takes a village to raise an athlete.

When I first moved to Collingwood, I didn’t know a soul, so I made it a routine to go to VO2 Sports Co.'s Run Club every Wednesday night to meet people. That’s where a great friend group was born.

I’m not a “runner,” but that’s the beautiful thing about the running community — it welcomes you with open arms and meets you exactly where you are.

As my way of giving back to a sport and community that means the world to be, I’m delighted to support Creemore’s inaugural 10km race on Sunday, June 7th.

I’ll be on course at a water station, so if you’re running or cheering, please stop by. I look forward to seeing you there!

This past weekend, I competed in the Swim Ontario Masters Championships—coming home with five gold medals and two silver medals. Even more meaningful, as part of the Georgian Bay Squall, we secured our fourth consecutive Provincial title. They say swimming is an individual sport—I'd argue it's anything but.

I started swimming at eight, and by 15 I was training nine times a week and competing nearly every weekend. Early on, the sport instilled discipline, resilience, and the understanding that consistency drives results. Today, it offers community, support, and, admittedly, a bit of relief on the joints.

The objectives may evolve, but the process remains the same: disciplined decisions consistently applied over time produce results.
