Happy Birthday to Sarah Jantzi in our Clinton office! 🎉

As a Director of First Impressions, Sarah is often the first friendly face clients see and the first cheerful voice they hear when they call our office. Her calm, welcoming nature, and genuine desire to help everyone has made her a fantastic addition to our team for the past two years.

Since joining the Excalibur Insurance team, Sarah has become a valued part of our office thanks to her upbeat attitude, positive energy, and willingness to jump in wherever she's needed. She's also hard at work studying for her upcoming RIBO exam as she prepares to take the next step in her insurance career and become a licensed broker, a reflection of her dedication and drive to continue learning and growing.

When she's not busy supporting clients and coworkers, you'll likely find Sarah spending time with her family or planning her next adventure, whether that's camping, berry picking, or skiing.

Read to Ride 2026 – School #2! 📚🚲

One of the best parts of our Read to Ride program is getting to visit classrooms across Ontario, but it's always extra special when we get to work with a school close to home.

This year, we partnered with Clinton Public School's Grade 3/4 classroom taught by Cynthia Crete. Through the Read to Ride program, the students earned one entry into a draw for every five hours they spent reading. The more they read, the more chances they had to win one of two brand-new bikes! Congratulations to our two bike winners from Clinton Public School, Trevor and Darla! 🎉

We had a blast visiting the classroom and loved hearing about some of the students' favourite books and series they read, including "I Survived" and "Dog Man."

Thank you to Cynthia Crete for helping us run the program in her classroom, and a big thank you to 360 Bikes 'n Boards for their continued support of Read to Ride. 📚🚲

Happy Birthday to Sarah Gingerich in our Exeter office! 🎉

Sarah has been part of the Excalibur Insurance team for over 4 years now, bringing an incredible combination of energy, positivity, and dedication to her work. Since joining us from a healthcare background, she has established herself as a knowledgeable, organized, and resourceful broker who is always ready to help both her clients and her coworkers.

Sarah is the kind of person who is fun-loving and always up for a good time. Her upbeat attitude, caring personality, and great sense of humour make her a joy to work with, while her client-first approach has made her a favourite among those she serves. She's also no stranger to a little friendly competition, something the Exeter office proves year after year when Halloween arrives and their team once again wins our annual costume contest.

Read to Ride is officially wrapped for another year! 📚🚲

This year we received 42(!!) applications to be part of Excalibur's Read to Ride program. It was truly a joy to review all of the submissions from classrooms across Ontario and hear from so many wonderful teachers trying to foster a love of reading in their students.

One of the classrooms we worked with was St. Boniface Catholic School in Zurich. Grade 3/4, 21 Students, and over 1,200 hours of reading completed in just 12 weeks!

Jeff Roy and Sydney Wettlaufer , who run our Read to Ride program, had a blast visiting the classroom to draw for two new bikes. Congratulations to the bike winners from St. Boniface: Emma and Remy.

Thank you to Mrs. Van Dongen for helping us run this program in her classroom. And a big thank you to 360 Bikes 'n Boards in Goderich for their continued support of the Read to Ride program. We couldn't make this happen without you, and we're always thrilled to hear that the bike winners enjoy visiting the store to pick out their new ride. 🚲

Excalibur Jersey Day is back!

If you're not familiar, whenever a new Excalibur Insurance team member reaches their 6-month milestone, we host a Jersey Day. To celebrate, we award them with their official Excalibur hockey jersey (we are Canadian after all), complete with their last name on the back and the last two digits of the year they joined our team.

Commercial Lines Account Manager, Noah Jacques, and Personal Lines Account Manager, Tia Noyes, are the newest Excalibur teammates to receive their jerseys! Congratulations to you both!

🎉 Happy Birthday to Account Manager, Carla Pawitch! 🎉

Carla has been part of the Excalibur team for two years now and in that time we've learned that she's an incredibly genuine, resilient, and hardworking person. Outside of the office, her focus is all about what matters most to her — her family, her kids, and her grandbabies. Growing up farming in Huron County gave her a strong work ethic (and it shows in everything she does!), and she still spends time helping her dad and siblings out on the family farm, because once a farm girl, always a farm girl 🚜🌾

When she's off the clock, you can also find Carla playing broom ball, or enjoying the best kind of downtime: snuggling up with her dogs.
