Okay… this one feels pretty surreal. ⭐️

When I found out I had been nominated as a Canadian Mortgage Professional Rising Star, I was genuinely honoured to have my name in the conversation.
⠀
Then I found out I WON.
⠀
I’ve officially been named one of Canada’s top mortgage professionals under 35 for 2026. I’m still trying to let that soak in because… WHAT?! 🥹
⠀
I took a huge risk and stepped away from the career I had known for more than a decade to take a chance on something new.
⠀
My background was marketing and design, but I went to school for Entrepreneurial Leadership & Business Management, majoring in Economics. In a full-circle moment, becoming a mortgage broker felt like getting back to my roots.
⠀
Did I know exactly what I was getting myself into? Absolutely not. 😂
⠀
I knew I wanted to build something of my own for a second time, challenge myself and build a career where I could make a real impact on people’s lives.
⠀
People first. Always.
⠀
I want my clients to feel like people, not files or numbers. To understand their mortgage, ask questions and know they have someone genuinely looking out for them.
⠀
There was a LOT of uncertainty when I made this career change. I had no idea what the future would hold.

So to be recognized nationally as one of the top young mortgage professionals in Canada… yeah. This one means a lot.

But I definitely didn’t get here alone.
⠀

My other love (aside from my family, obviously 😂) is spin.

I hit 200 rides at Fluxx CycleHouse and got to celebrate it on the podium. And gosh, I LOVE being up there. ❤️✨

Spin has become so much more than a workout for me. It’s a place to move my body, leave the stresses of the day outside the room, turn the music WAY up and ultimately… party like a rockstar for 45 minutes. 🤘

But 200 rides also has me feeling pretty damn grateful.

To the QUEEN, Kelly Ashley, for creating this incredible place and community.

To the people in that room who cheer each other on, show up for each other and have turned into real, genuine friendships. You guys cheering me on meant more than you know. (You all know exactly who you are!! YES I’m talking about you!)

To my body, for allowing me to move, sweat, get stronger and do something I love. I know what a privilege that is, and I don’t take it lightly.

To my family, for giving me the space to have something that is just for ME.

And especially to my husband K who has put the kids to bed more times than I can count so I can clip into a bike, turn off my brain and scream-sing in a dark room. 😂

200 rides down. And definitely not done yet.

More than mortgages, I’m human. And apparently, a human who really, really loves riding a stationary bike. 🤘❤️

Build a team of professionals you trust. A great realtor, mortgage broker, lawyer or notary, and the right people in your corner can make the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming.
