With the deepest gratitude, today the funds from Campbell River Global Fair Trade Market started flowing to Moshi Tanzania. Right now it is about managing the transport and communications to ensure the women stay connected in their five groups and to the coordinator Vicky. When I started the project international transfer fees were cost prohibitive at over $20 per transfer. And there were no guarantees. This meant money was rarely sent. Now it is $5 CDN and guaranteed. Wahoo!

Well, I would normally be back in Tanzania this time of year. A warm welcome from Alfred and Vicky guaranteed.

So glad I got in my 2020 visit just a few weeks before the world became to shut down.

Sad news from the Tanzanian government. Just give the people the option to get the vaccine rather than denial and avoidance along with misinformation.
Love to you all women of Bridge to Africa Project. Know I have you in my heart.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has urged Tanzania to consider inoculating its population.
