The former ultra-successful sales executive now finds herself at a crossroads in her career. The office-equipment company she worked for since shut down its Burlington office last April, leaving Shelley looking for a new direction. And now she has found it – she will harness that passion she feels for the well-being of older Canadians and start her own friendly visiting business. It’s not the money, she says – she could be making a lot more going back to her previous career – but rather a new calling she feels. “ I just love seniors, and I can’t think of anything else more important than ensuring they get lots of love and care,” says Sterling.
