Dikwata SACCOS Successfully Convenes Special General Meeting at SSKB Auditorium to Finalize Amended Bylaws

MOGODITSHANE – Dikwata Savings and Credit Co-operative Society (SACCOS) officially convened an extraordinary Special General Meeting (SGM) at the Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB) Auditorium.

The high-stakes assembly was dedicated to the comprehensive review and institutional adoption of the cooperative's newly amended bylaws, marking a pivotal milestone in its governance and operational modernization.Demonstrating the society's widespread solidarity and democratic foundation, member representatives traveled from every corner of Botswana to make their voices heard.

Delegations arrived from major northern hubs including Francistown, Shakawe, and Maun, alongside representatives from Selebi-Phikwe and various military base camps across the country. This diverse, nationwide turnout underscored the deep-rooted commitment of the membership to shape the future financial security and regulatory framework of the SACCOS.Beyond the rigorous administrative and legislative discussions, the event successfully blended corporate governance with rich cultural heritage.

The atmosphere inside the SSKB Auditorium was vibrant and celebratory, featuring dynamic live entertainment performances and a profound presentation by a local poet, which kept morale high and united the delegates in high spirits.
