Luke 5: The Call
Jesus calls fishermen, a tax collector, and heals a l***r and a paralyzed man. He calls the broken, not the perfect. Faith makes the impossible touchable. Leave your nets. Follow Him even when it doesn’t make sense.
Luke 6: The Kingdom Lifestyle
Sermon on the Plain: love your enemies, don’t judge, build on the rock. Jesus heals on Sabbath. Kingdom people live upside-down. Mercy is greater than religion. Obedience is your foundation. Hearing + doing = unshakable life.
Luke 7: Authority & Faith
Raises widow’s son, forgives sinful woman, Roman centurion’s servant healed.
Jesus has authority over death, sin, and sickness. Great faith equals believing His word is enough. You don’t need a “touch” — just speak the Word and trust.
Luke 8: Power Over Chaos
Calms storm, delivers demon-possessed man, heals bleeding woman, raises Jairus’ daughter. No storm, no demon, no delay is too big for Him. “Where is your faith?” He’s in the boat with you. Even 12 years of bleeding stops with one touch.
Luke 9: Commission & Glory
Sends out 12 disciples, feeds 5000, Peter declares “You are the Christ”, Transfiguration, casts out demon boy.
Discipleship equals deny self, take up cross, follow daily. Glory comes after the mountain of prayer. You’re not just a follower. You’re sent. Power flows from prayer and surrender.
