The Bahamas was proud to open discussions at the Lagos Private Wealth Conference 2026, setting the stage for conversations on the future of global wealth management and investment.

The opening plenary session, "The Bahamas as a Global Wealth & Investment Hub," showcased the jurisdiction's strengths in wealth preservation, investment solutions, digital assets, and cross-border financial services.

Representing The Bahamas were Brandace Duncanson, Director of Financial Services at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Niekia Horton, CEO & Executive Director of the Bahamas Financial Services Board, Michael Clare of Liongate Bahamas Limited, and Delphino Cassar of Equity Group Business Development Ltd.

Thank you to the LPWC organizers and attendees for the engaging discussions. We look forward to continuing to build connections and explore opportunities between The Bahamas and Africa's growing private wealth community.

Wayne Munroe, KC to discuss matters impacting The Bahamas’ financial services industry and opportunities for continued collaboration.
