BahaSolutions Consulting: Our Journey
In 2024, four aspiring students of The University of The Bahamas, Marano Emmanuel, Tyler Smith, Selena McKinney, and Vashann Johnson were grouped together in a Business Communication class. They discovered a shared passion for problem-solving and worked seamlessly as a team. In their project that involved creating a stimulated Bahamian consulting firm, they performed admirably scoring top marks, impressing their professor. This experience planted the seed of an idea: maybe, one day, they could transform this project into an actual business.
After graduation all the founders proceeded with their occupations in different fields to gain experience and more expertise. Marano, being a master marketer was able to manage and execute campaigns that placed many Bahamian companies on the map. Tyler, who specialize in finance, became a Certified Public Accountant and acquired jobs within the highly popular financial firms, managing accounts for local and international businesses. Selena became a professional Human Resource manager and developed an effective approach to staffing for organizations. Vashann, a successful IT-specialist, led projects in cybersecurity and technology consulting.
Fast forward to 2035: The four friends reconnected with passion and vision to make a difference in Bahamian businesses and capitalize on the rising demand in the Bahamian consulting market. They recognized that local businesses required additional service support that they could get from external sources to remain competitive in an increasingly digital and data-driven world. BahaSolutions Consulting (BSC) was formed out of this shared vision; incorporated in 2035 as a professional services firm dedicated to providing consulting services that empowers the Bahamian business community.
2035 – Official Launch
BahaSolutions Consulting launched with an ambitious mission: Our aim is to provide clear, practical strategies that improve business operations, strengthen financial health, and support long-term growth in the Bahamas. Since the establishment, the founders aimed to offer professional and individualized expert advisory in the following areas: Financial Consulting, IT Consulting, HR Consulting, Management Consulting, Marketing Consulting, and Data Consulting.
2036 – First Major Client
One year into its operation, BSC was able to contract the first major client in the Bahamas, a hospitality company. This work was presented as a successful example of the team’s activity and demonstrated the opportunity to achieve significant results in several types of consulting businesses at once, enhancing the firm’s positions in the market.
2037 – Market Entry into Data & Technology Consultancy
Under Vashann’s leadership in technology, BSC added data consulting and technology services to its offerings and advanced the adoption of new technologies and data strategies for organizations in the area. This expansion further helped to position BSC ahead of competitors and constitute the organization as a modern and full-service consulting firm.
2038 – Recognition and Community Inclusion
New challenges resulted from BSC’s focus on excellent service and positive impact on the Bahamian community, which helped the organization receive an accreditation by the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce. The firm also developed community initiatives, thereby providing free training and information to local enterprises so that they can expand organically and support the Bahamian economy.

However, now, after four years of successes, BahaSolutions Consulting has evolved into a reputable consulting company that is characterized by the company’s honesty, vast experience and focus on effectiveness. The experience and commitment of the founders, as well as mutual passion for Bahamian businesses, make BSC established and credible sponsor for businesses willing to develop, innovate and build sustainable future.
