It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of 2-Time Icon Award winning writer, director and producer, . Through poignant story telling and compelling chatacters, Gea reflected to us the stories of our lives; our joys, sorrows, frustrations…she taught us that love sometimes can be a little crazy, and that His strength is perfect in weakness. Her strength was truly giving others the space to shine their brightest light. As Head Writer for the Bahamian Icon Awards, her talent alone stands at the epicenter of our success. We will truly truly miss her. Our condolences to her family, the company and all who have been inspired and impacted by her life’s work. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

The Bahamian Icon Awards Organization mourns the loss of Icon Winner, Phillip Lightbourne. Phillip was awarded the very first Icon Award in Entrepreneurship in 2013 for his company Phil’s Food Service. Our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones and all of us who are impacted by this tremendous loss. May his soul Rest In Perfection.
