We’re excited to welcome Serge Soglo, CEO of MTN Mobile Money BĂ©nin, as a speaker in the high-level panel: Financing the Future: Towards a Financial Architecture Suited to Africa.

With over 20 years of experience in the financial sector, Serge has played a pivotal role in transforming Benin’s digital payments landscape. Under his leadership, MTN Mobile Money BĂ©nin has experienced exponential growth — from 300 million to over 1.7 billion transactions annually, and from 7,000 to more than 220,000 payment acceptance points between 2020 and 2024. As President of APEPEME, he also champions financial inclusion and digital innovation across the country.

Known for his dynamic leadership and impact-driven vision, Serge will share key insights on how digital finance can reshape Africa’s financial architecture for inclusive, sustainable growth.

We’re proud to welcome Nompilo Morafo, Group Chief Sustainability & Corporate Affairs Officer at MTN Group, as a speaker at the Benin Investment Forum 2025. She will join the high-level panel: Redefining Leadership: How Women Entrepreneurs Are Shaping the Future of Business.

As a key leader driving MTN’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda, Nompilo leads the integration of sustainability, corporate reputation, and stakeholder engagement across the Group. Her work focuses on areas such as decarbonization, digital human rights, diversity and inclusion, and impactful corporate citizenship.

Before joining MTN in 2019, she held senior roles at LafargeHolcim and Sasol, where she led communications, public affairs, and sustainability across international markets. At BIF 2025, she will share her perspective on how inclusive leadership and purpose-driven strategy are reshaping the future of business in Africa.
