Heading to Butanyerera Province this Sunday, the first day of February to select a school that will represent it at the Friends of Fisc inter-club competitions.
Five high school institutions this Sunday met at Don Bosco High School in Ngozi.
The hostel school won.
At this meeting, Busiga high school ranked 3rd, Musenyi school of excellence came second, Kayanza high school ranked 4th and Kayanza COMIBU school ranked 5th.

All 5 competing schools submitted sketches. Entertaining forts about the importance of electronic invoicing machines.

Eight kilometres from , we are at Rugari High School in the former Muyinga province, currently , 5 secondary schools were gathered there to compete on taxation including electronic billing.
The five competing Tax-Friendly School Clubs are set to vie for a single spot for a performance in the finals on February 14. In smooth, Rugari High School, Gisanze High School, Saint Pie 10 Small Seminary of Muyinga, the Communal High School of Giteranyi..
Finally, it is the host high school of Rugari that takes the only place for the final. The final, which will take place on February 14th, will see the 6 best winners from the 5 provinces of the country.

As part of the celebration of the 10 years of existence of the Amis du Fisc clubs, the Office Burundais des Recettes organizes a competition on taxation, including electronic billing. After the preliminary selection at the provincial level, the five clubs from the shortlisted schools met on 31st January in Makamba for Burunga Province, Rugari for Buhumuza Province, Holy Spirit High School for Bujumbura Province.
Butanyerera province semi finals will be played on 1st February at Don Bosco high school in Ngozi while Gitega province will be at Musinzira high school.

The 20th January 2026 deadline for tele-declaration and tele-payment of consumption tax for the first fortnight of January 2026 has been extended to the 22nd January 2026 following a malfunction on the "UMUTANGAKORI" system.
Telefiling and telepayment of tax expected no later than 22nd January 2026 at midnight must be done online in the system known as "UMUTANGAKORI". The link is: https://umutangakori.obr.gov.bi/login-econtribuableobr
The category of taxpayers affected by the postponement of this date of January 20, 2026 is the following: Taxpayers subject to the tax declaration of
consumption.
