Grameen Trust’s Partner Organizations Meet in Paris
Grameen Trust convened its first-ever global Family Gathering in Paris on 11–12 February 2026, bringing together 62 representatives from 25 partner organizations across 17 countries. Co-organized with the Grameen Crédit Agricole Microfinance Foundation and hosted at Crédit Agricole Group headquarters, the two-day long event marked a significant milestone in strengthening the global Grameen network.
The gathering was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Ashraful Hassan, Chairman of Grameen Group, and Mr. Raphaël Appert, Chairman of the Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation, who underscored the importance of strategic partnership, ethical finance, and collective leadership in advancing inclusive finance & development.
Through high-level plenary sessions, interactive dialogues, and networking forums, participants exchanged experiences on financial inclusion, women’s entrepreneurship, youth employment, climate resilience, and social business innovation. A keynote address by Abdul Hai Khan, Executive Vice Chairman of Grameen Trust, reflected on the evolution and global impact of the Grameen movement.
The Paris gathering reaffirmed a shared commitment to Professor Muhammad Yunus’s vision of the Three Zeros—zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero net carbon emissions—while laying the foundation for deeper collaboration, knowledge exchange, and coordinated global action across the Grameen family.
