Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) organized a Day long workshop on “Navigating Credit Risk Management for Finance Companies. Best Practices, Challenges and Mitigation Strategies" held on 09 February 2026 at FAR's Hotel and Resort, Dhaka. Mr. Md. Enamul Karim Khan, ED-DFIM, Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Mr. Kanti Kumar Saha, Vice Chairman of BLFCA and CEO of Alliance Finance PLC and Mr. Md. Kyser Hamid, Vice Chairman of BLFCA and Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Finance PLC inaugurated the training program. Mr. Alamgir Morshed, Member of BLFCA and Managing Director & CEO of IDCOL were also present and delivered their valuable speech. The program successfully completed with participation of 32 officials from 18 NBFIs.
Mr. Masud Rana, DGM- Credit Corporate, IDLC Finance PLC; Mr. Shamzid Zaman, In Charge of Legal Operations, IPDC Finance PLC; Mr. Shahanur Rashid, Senior Executive & Head of business, Alliance Finance PLC; Noor Mohammed Sheikh, Ex Director, BBTA & Secretary, BLFCA; Sumon Kumar Kundo, CRO, BD Finance PLC. conducted the training season.
Syed Mahbubul Alam, Director, DFIM, Bangladesh Bank, was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants. The program was presided over by Mr. M. Jamal Uddin, Chairman BLFCA and Managing Director & CEO of IDLC Finance PLC. As Special Guest Mr. Mr. Kyser Hamid, Vice Chairman of BLFCA and Managing Director & CEO Bangladesh Finance PLC and Rizwan Dawood Shams, EC Member BLFCA and Managing Director & CEO of IPDC Finance PLC. was present and delivered their valuable speech.

Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) organized a Day long workshop on “Internal Control and Compliance of Finance Companies” held on 23 September 2025 at FARS Hotel and Resort, Dhaka. Mr. Kanti Kumar Saha, Vice Chairman of BLFCA and CEO of Alliance Finance PLC inaugurated the training program. Mr. Nasimul Baten EC member of BLFCA & Managing Direct & CEO of DBH Finance PLC and Rizwan Dawood Shams EC member of BLFCA & Managing Direct of IPDC Finance PLC were also present and delivered their valuable speech. The program successfully completed with participation of 33 officials from 27 NBFIs.

Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) organized a day long workskhop on “Regulatory Reporting of Finance companies” held on 17 June, 2025 at FARS Hotel and Resort, Dhaka. Mr. Kanti Kumar Saha, Vice Chairman of BLFCA and CEO of Alliance Finance PLC inaugurated the training program. Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman Member of BLFCA & Managing Director of Hajj Finance Company Ltd.was also present and delivered his valuable speech. The program successfully completed with participation of 38 officials from 30 NBFIs.

Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) arranged a two-day long training on “Credit Risk Management and Analysis of Credit Proposal” on 14 – 15 October, 2023 at FARS Hotel and Resort, Dhaka. Mr. Md. Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chairman, BLFCA and Managing Director, IIDFC inaugurated the program. Mr. Kanti Kumar Shaha, Vice Chairman, BLFCA and CEO of Alliance Finance PLC, also spoke on the occasion. Mr. Md. Amir Uddin, Director, DFIM, Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the program. The program successfully ended with participation of 26 officials from 16 NBFIs. Experienced trainers of NBFI sector conducted the training. Mr. Md. Amir Uddin, Director, DFIM, Bangladesh Bank, graced the closing ceremony as chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants. The program was presided over by Mr. Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chairman, BLFCA and Managing Director of IIDFC, where Mr. Mohammed Mosharaf Hossain, member of BLFCA Executive Committee, Managing Director and CEO of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited also delivered speech.
