Tarique Rahman was sworn in as Bangladesh's prime minister on 17 February after his centre-right Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) swept to a landslide in the general election.

Tarique Rahman, also known as Tarique Zia, is a Bangladeshi politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh since 2026. He has also been the Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party since 2026. He is the eldest son of former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
