NMC House NMC House is for Naher (nasir) Mohammed Chowdhury House.Is one of the prominent house in Chittagong since before Mughal era.

Hazrat Ashraful Hossain along with his two sons at around 884 A.D travelled Arabia to Gaur(capital of Bangla Bihar at that time) .The Ghor emperor , Muzaffar shah granted Ashraful Hossain the title Shah and his eligible son sayed Hossain shah was made the prime minister. Hazrat Badruddin shah accompained by his three sons came to Chittagong around 1660, during the reign of the Mughal emperior Aura

Chittagong and Akhian, Badruddin shah came to Chittagong to preach the teaching of Islam, later John Major King Bordsley, the English governor at that time , while servaying lands in 1753, assigend him with lands 2249 & 2269 and entitled him Chowdhury

Amid landslides and road destruction caused by heavy rainfall—leaving over 400 families isolated—his visit brought us hope in a time of despair.
